Zine Making 101: Using Canva to Design a Zine In-Person
Learn how to use Canva, a free graphic design tool online, to create an 8-fold zine or a digest zine from existing works of writing and art. Come prepared with writing or art to compile into a zine or come early and paint, collage and create your zine illustrations beforehand! This workshop will have an hour for follow-along instruction, and an hour for creating your own zine with help from the instructor. This 2-part series is in collaboration with West Haven Public Library, and the follow-up session, Zine-Making 102: Zine Folding, Stitching, and Minding, Oh My will be held March 1st at West Haven Public Library.
Due to limited computers, if you have your own laptop, feel free to bring your own. Computers will be first come first served.
