Rent Rebate Assistance In-Person

Do you need assistance applying for Rent Rebate?  Join representatives from the New Haven Elderly Services Department on Mondays through August 25th for help!

To qualify for Rent Rebate you  must be:

  • A New Haven resident AND
  • At least 65 years old OR
  • 18-64 and designated disabled by the Social Security Administration OR
  • At least 50 years old and a surviving spouse of a renter who at the time of their death qualified for Rent Rebate

Your total income must not exceed $45,200 if unmarried or $55,100 if married.  Please bring proof of rent for 2024 and proof of expenses (electric, gas, water, and oil).
