DESCRIPTION:Scanning family photographs is a great way to protect fragile 
 originals\, create backup copies\, and share your family history with 
 relatives around the world. In this program\, Beinecke Library archivist 
 Jennifer Coggins and NHFPL Community Technology Librarian Rose Simpson will 
 discuss strategies for effectively scanning your photo collection using the 
 New Haven Memory Lab. The program will cover selecting\, storing\, and 
 describing original photographs\; the scanning process\, and caring for the 
 digital copies you create.
