Printmaking Workshop: Botanical Monoprints In-Person
Celebrate our Summer Reading theme, "Plant a Seed, Read!" by learning how to make prints from regular flowers, herbs, leaves, and other plant matter! In this workshop, we will explore analog printing with various flowers and plants to create a one-of-a-kind print. Monoprints create a singular, unique print that reflect an impression of the materials used. You can bring your own leaves, flowers, or stems if you have something you'd like to preserve or make into a work of art, but we'll have some fun plants for you to try out this technique with as well as all the printing tools you'll need! Make cards, postcards, or art that's ready to hang on the walls with this quick but stunning craft.
