Queer Men's Book Club of New Haven In-Person

The Queer Men’s Book Club of New Haven (QMBC) provides a welcoming, structured space for gay men to gather monthly for thoughtful literary discussion and community building. The Club focuses on fiction and non-fiction works that reflect the experiences, history, culture, and evolving identities of gay men. QMBC fosters open dialogue, intellectual engagement, and meaningful social connection in an affirming environment.

QMBC is open to male-identified individuals of all ages and backgrounds who are interested in gay male literature. While the primary focus is gay male experience, allies and other LGBTQ+ individuals who share a genuine interest in the material are welcome. No prior literary expertise is required.

This meeting we will discuss When Brooklyn Was Queer by Hugh Ryan.
