Draw the Line, Find Your Freedom: A Workshop on Personal Boundaries In-Person
Stop collapsing into “yes,” stop posturing with walls, and start standing strong in composure.
Why personal boundaries feel so hard:
- You were taught to please others, not protect yourself.
- Saying “no” feels selfish.
- Or maybe you swing the other way — building walls just to feel safe.
- Neither works.
The sweet spot? Composure. Boundaries that are sturdy, calm, and true to you. In just 90 minutes, learn how to:
- Define personal boundaries and why they matter
- Spot the traps of collapse and posturing — and discover composure, the ideal middle ground.
- Use simple, ready-to-go scripts for everyday situations
- Practice boundaries in real-life scenarios with our fun Boundary Bingo
- Walk away with one boundary you’ll start practicing immediately
Presenter Bio
Barb Nangle is a boundaries coach, speaker, author and podcast host.
At 52, Barb Nangle’s life transformed through 12-step recovery, after decades of therapy merely skimmed the surface. Addressing codependence unlocked healing from intergenerational trauma, childhood wounds, and compulsive overeating. Learning to build healthy boundaries revolutionized her relationships, impacting her professional life at Yale. Formerly masking her struggles with substance use and overeating, she shed over 100 pounds and confronted her deep-seated negativity and fear. Driven by a desire for growth and social justice, Barb now empowers professional women to break patterns of self-neglect. Through boundary coaching, speaking, and her podcast, "Fragmented to Whole," she guides women to build internal safety, reclaim their power and say no to what no longer serves them, fostering a world where inner change drives societal impact.
