CT for Abolition Book Club: The Struggle Within by Dan Berger In-Person
CT for Abolition focuses on reading books about abolition or that support abolitionist ideas. Our goal is to build community, learn, and inspire each other to grow and think in ways that align with abolition!
This session we are reading The Struggle Within: Prisons, Political Prisoners, and Mass Movements in the United States by Dan Berger. The Struggle Within is an accessible yet wide-ranging historical primer about how mass imprisonment has been a tool of repression deployed against diverse left-wing social movements over the last fifty years. In each biweekly session through March 24th we will discuss a few chapters of the book.
