Introduction to Leather-Crafting and Painting for kids In-Person
Local artist Mitch Rembert will be offering a free program to kids ages 6-and-up on Tuesdays and Thursdays after school at 3:30 on the last week of the month from February through May. Mitch’s work can be found on our Peace Mural you can view anytime on our front lawn. But he first learned leather crafting under his father, the artist Winfred Rembert. Mitch will instruct kids and teach them all the techniques and use of small handcrafting tools to create and paint your own bracelet with acrylic paints and dyes. All supplies provided. This program is sponsored by a generous gift from the David T. Langrock Foundation.
