UNBOUND Pop-Up Exhibition by Desiree Upchurch
Stop in to the lower level at the Ives Main Library to view UNBOUND, a pop-up art exhibition featuring work from local artist Desiree Upchurch! This exhibit is free to the public and on display from Monday, April 21, through Saturday, May 3.
Exploring the act of breaking free from constraints—whether societal, personal, or structural—through movement, transformation, and materiality. Showcasing how structure and chaos coexist, much like in life, art, and design. These works reflect the tension between order and disorder, with elements like rigid geometric forms disrupted by organic movement. The exhibition navigates the tension between order and chaos, structure and fluidity, influenced by architecture and fashion. Unbound is not just about escape—it’s about redefining boundaries on our terms.
