Something GIANT is coming to the Ives Main Library Children's Room!
Come visit the GIANT Remix station, open during regular operating hours from Monday, March 17 to Monday, March 31.
Created by The GIANT Room, an innovation hub for kids, a Dream Up a Character-themed station will be set up. Dream up your own original character that you would like to see come alive on a professionally printed, AI-generated trading card! You will have the opportunity to receive a deck of trading cards featuring characters created by other members of your community. The deck of cards is also accompanied with a gamebook that features a variety of games that you can use with the trading cards!
Then, check back in April, May, and June for new remix stations where you can design your dream city, create a comic strip, and invent a new type of tech wearable device, all in partnership with The GIANT Room and CT State Library.
