Artwalk Kickoff 2025 In-Person
Our Artwalk Kickoff for 2025 will feature the poet and puppeteer Iyaba Ibo Mandingo for both our children's attraction (puppet show, puppet making workshop) and as our adult attraction: a poetry presentation along with an artist presentation featuring the art of Larry Morse.
Larry Morse has a series called Black Men Reading and Iyaba Mandigo is actually featured in one of his paintings.
Local author/illustrator Frank Dormer will be here creating original artwork on the windows and walls of the library. Come see art being created in real time!
