Black Music Milestones: Wattstax In-Person
Join us for a screening of the legendary 1972 music festival sometimes called “Black Woodstock”. Featuring dynamic performances and monologues from Isaac Hayes, The Staple Singers, Albert King, Rufus King, Richard Pryor, and many more from a packed L.A. Coliseum this electrifying concert captures the political energy and optimism of Los Angeles’ Watts neighborhood in that era.
